About Coventry Sunni Movement

The Coventry Sunni Movement was founded in September 2009 by Shaykh Nabeel Afzal at the Al-Madina Islamic Centre (Madrassa & Library) in Coventry City. This website was launched in March 2010 to showcase our work for Deen.
The centre opened in September 2009 on Foleshill Road and relocated to Queen Mary's Road in July 2011. The centre offers a variety of classes for all age groups and Jamaat for all five prayers is led on a daily basis.
Our mission is to spread Islam through events, media, publications and classes in accordance with the Holy Quran, Sunnah of our Prophet Muhammad (SalAllahu Alayhi Wasallam) and Maslak of A'la Hazrat Imam Ahmed Rida Khan (RadiAllahu Anhu).

The Coventry Sunni Movement vision has flourished into a phenomenon which is constantly spreading throughout the UK. Our work is recognised globally and has motivated communities to follow.
If you believe you have a dedicated group of individuals ready to produce work and spread the Maslak of A'la Hazrat Imam Ahmed Rida Khan (RadiAllahu Anhu) then please give us a call. Any Ullemah amongst your group is of great advantage.
Please bear in mind that establishing a Movement is not just about opening a Facebook Page. Your main objective should be to encourage activity in your community and produce work.
